Happy Passover

This morning I led the traditional study session for the first born. We remember that the first born Egyptians died in the 10th plague so we could be free. First borns today either fast or study a section of rabbinic literature and complete that study before Passover. I studied a section from the Mishnah dealing with the eligibility of 2 books to be included in the Bible. The discussion centered on Song of Songs and Ecclesiastes. We also then burned the chametz.
