Just a reminder that our service tomorrow evening Oct 9 will be at 8 PM at the Olney Elementary School with our guest speaker, Jack Zeller, of KULANU. He'll be speaking about the cooperative fair trade coffee business in Uganda between Christians, Muslims and Jews. Should be fascinating.
On Shabbat morning we will be at the Olney Theater. 9am is Torah study, 9:20 is the service. Around 11 the Sisterhood Rosh Chodesh group will meet. And after the service - around 11:30 - I will lead a Torah discussion. During the service we will celebrate Abner Cohen's 96th birthday and we will recite the Hallel service since it's Rosh Chodesh (the new month). We thank Abner's daughter and family for sponsoring the kiddush!
